If the desktop app does not show a visible Sign in button, try opening the Your data in YouTube menu first. In the issue discussion, that path let affected users reach the sign-in flow, and the maintainer later said the visible button should be back in v0.1.6.

  1. Make sure NouTube is the default app for music.youtube.com.
  2. If the official YouTube Music app is installed, remove its default link handling first.
  3. If the problem continues, try a custom user agent from Settings > Tools > Custom user agent.

Some ads are still getting through
